1959 Austin-Healey Sprite
Engine: 1275cc BMC A-series engine with .040" overbore (1310cc)
Transmission: Modified OEM 4-speed
Race History: Race history dates back to 1972 when it raced in SCCA H/Production at Riverside Raceway. Subsequently had owners in Minnesota, Florida, Colorado. Most success was achieved by Gary Curtis with wins at Road America and Minneapolis Vintage Grand Prix in late 1990s. It was on the cover of Sports Car Market magazine. We bought the Sprite from Lt. Col. John Alpers around 2017. Won EP/GT class last time out at VARA's 25CCW event at Buttonwillow late 2022.
