This tube-chassied, fiberglass-bodied race car is your basic “basket case.” The front clip was removed, although the upper and lower control arms, 13” diameter vented rotor disc brakes and coil-overs remain. Most of the original tin work also remains. In the rear is a SCP (Stock Car Products) Quick-Change rear end, coil-over Fox shocks with remote reservoirs, axles and rotors. Four 16” x 10” bolt-together aluminum wheel with 5-on 4-3/4” bolt pattern and ancient tires, plus a 34” x 18” x 14” fuel cell (approx. 30 gallons) are included.
The body comes with spare doors (4), hood, fenders and nose. A spare fiberglass racing seat (with upholstery), Longacre bare aluminum dash panel and an aluminum front duct are included.
Here is a perfect opportunity for someone with fabrication skills (or access to someone who does) to construct a fast race car for vintage competition or auto crossing on a budget. Complete new front chassis clips are available from many sources.
Take everything away for $3,000 O.B.O.
